Feb 2020
seaweed stones and sand
layer on layer over old clothes
made me so heavy deep at sea
in a state of survival
i hibernated in frozen waters
till tide took my body to hot waters

i had to rub skin raw
to grow light enough to breach surface
naked once more
i stand back on the island of my own
