I am old and have nothing to pretend. I have done all my duties, I have confessed all my sins. Time has taught me to be content. The distractions of a younger life, I have long ago set aside. I no longer have the sharp mouth, that often comes with a young life. But I watch them from my front porch swing. The youth are busy gathering. Soon enough, they will feel, the hard and heavy hand of strife. But for now let them be ignorant, And get on with the business of life.
