It is somewhere in your face
You try so hard to hide it,
But it’s there…
In your actions,
It shines brightly
In your words,
I hear it loud and clear.

It has become a shaft of light,
Emitting a kind of brightness
Only I can understand
For time has honed
This perceptive mind……

It would have been better
If I had lost my memory,
I'd be free from anger and hate,
I wish I were wrong
I wish I were without a sight,
For then I won’t be able to see
The guilt that is all over you.
