Dancing unicorns and colourful butterflies
Crackers of sweet honey and bubblegum flavour
Chocolate streams and ice-cream trees
Carousel of cupcakes and bacon hams

Glitters and sparkles rained down on little elves
Mermaids and fairies grew magical plants and food
Everything is so beautiful and other-worldly
From afar, it looks like a fun fair heaven.

I sat at the top of the hill watching with ease
Enjoying the whistling wind under the warm moonlight
Biting a mouthful of bread and butter
"I want to be there" I mouthed

I extended my arm towards them with a hopeful wish
The fairies pranced towards me and gathered
They took my hand and put it towards my heart
With a whisper they said close to my ear

" Love and accept yourself first. Once you do, your vision will be clearer. It's not all fairy dust and roses"

And I realise. I glanced at that wonderful place again.
Fairies showed me the other side of the coin
The gold place slowly turned dark, grey and gloomy
Still every being is happy but with a tragic story carved in them

I see it now.
I see.
