Jun 2019
trapped in a cell, abandoned by light
fed through a tube, once day and night
no one around, to talk to or fight
sanity cowers in the absence of might.

showering cold in a tub soaked in tears,
the silence of torture has deafened his ears,
time is a lie, he’s lost count of the years,
forever imprisoned til the reaper appears.
