mandarin orange
she tastes like lilacs
her fingers around his wrist
he can feel their heartbeats
honey golden lips
her hair
like cinnamon sugar
blue skies rolled between
a universe and half
but love only kept them sane
so when he's gone
she's lonelier than the dark
he practices shadows
she teaches them to dance
buttercups and daisies
she wishes her life
was perfect without him
but he still craves the need
to have her beside him
rosy red thorns
the taste of coffee
her lover never kissed like this
his distance was never missed
they just wanted real
and the universe gave them
love
I think I miss you
like the water misses the shore
like the sun misses the moon
like my lips miss yours
