Snow blind
unkind
as blurred shadows dance
within the ice...

her mirrored form
born of light

a snow summoned mirage

a phantom

a spectral entity beckoning
with long slender
fingers...

air borne
twirling flakes
covering her modesty

eyes echoing
the emptiness of meadows

a kelidascope of
blues and greens
amidst Hazel browns and golds

her lips azure
whisper upon the breeze
calling me
to follow

and follow I must

for I am hope
and unspoken promises

for in her arms are held
my dreams
for

I am the Spring.
