Residual Light
Residual Light
It doesn’t just happen at night
It happens in the bad light
When people can’t see well
But the criminal can
He loves the dusk and bad weather
Coming into his element
Robbing your house of its valuables
Slitting your brother’s throat
Slicing your car tires
Burning up your cat
Planting terror bombs
Hacking the power grid
It all happens when the light fades
Beware normal law abiding people
Law will not protect you
Nor the cops or military
Arm yourself and train
Stop the crims before they strike
Or you’re *******
For even if you have nothing
They will take your life
And spit on your corpse
