LIVING EULOGY
My Dear Child
I realize you've pledged
To hate me forever
Engraved upon my heart
Our rope has been severed
But a man without his daughter
Is like a lame leg without a cane
I can feel your ill will towards me
As the cold creeps through my vanes
Perhaps your not my offspring
In this crazy world of chance
But I was still prepared
To be your one loving dad
Perhaps you'll never read this
And you may someday wonder why
Someone called the Traveler
Could never say goodbye
....
