Gloom and doom
you shan't not get
your vice round thee.

For I hold reins of love
strongly to steer clear.

Dark thoughts
you won't consume me
for sun returns each day
with rays to persevere.

No you can’t suffocate me,
as self has toiled to recognize
your nasty jargon that surfaces
and breath is infused
with laughter at thought.

Mind integrates with heart
to carve new beginnings.
To dwell in the home of heart,
as bells tolls
to the truth of God within.

Oh no your monstrous fangs
will eat my flesh no more,
as self in warrior mode
command you to melt away.
To cease your rambling
for suffer I won’t
under your rule.

Not this day, or ever.
