In a timeless embrace
they did not remember
when it had begun

only a rhythmic sway
spoke for them both
as arms incubate and lips claim

soft neck, cheek and hand's brush
here an ear's whispered endearment
mouths exchanging breath for breath

and a sacred romance plays out
over forgotten ages and rendezvous
passion tenders two more lovers
