If you live treasure
On the side of the road
Why are you upset
When someone is smart
Enough  to pick it up
Dust  it off and value it
Too many adults are playing
Around with the treasure
Of others
Treating it common
And then upset
When others value what
They  bucked and scorned
It’s almost laughable
I’ll tell you this much
Try to never take your eyes
Off love
For it is not always yours to keep
