The forgotten child
Never asked how they are
Never asked for an opinion

Forgets them in the zoo
Doesn't have time to listen to them
Never asked if they want a second helping.

Loses them in the mall
But doesn't care

They come home with a purple eye one day
But nobody aks
Because they are the forgotten child

And it's always going to stay that way
