It worries me that the world still spins
without you
and you and you and..
I never wanted you to go,
but I was never present so
how can I ask you to stay?
I've made blood promises to myself,
could you understand?
I've been shaped in ways as you have;
do the pieces I lay before you
not reveal me?
I am stretched and lonesome
of lovers past and future,
in search of a puzzled soul
as puzzled as mine.
I cross my z's
