May 2018
With the rain thundering down
As I stroll back home from work
And although in this deluge, some would drown
I cannot stop smiling

With every moment as I wait
For sweet Mercury’s sound
Even if it seems to be over due and late
It always brings a smile to my face

Even as you enjoy time with friends
And look so stunning doing so
No matter what the lens
One picture, one text, one little mention
And that sweet uncontrollable
Involuntary
Naturally joyous smile
Is put back on my face

So wonderfully open
So brutally honest
Words can’t describe how refreshing that is
Laying all my worries and fears to rest
Because every time I see that face
Radiant and beautiful and unique and lush
I feel no want to slow this pace

As I beam, and blush
With the happiest smile across my face
