the gallery of broken girls: the liar

she speaks pretty, with the lilt of a lullaby

she needs to learn where her loyalties lie

betrayed by her beauty and the love in her voice

her lies an option when faced with a choice

the face of an angel, innocent and sweet

she'll spin you a story, not missing a beat

with a heart of stone and eyes of stardust,

she'll ruin your day along with your trust
