If there is
a time I don't know you
the world won't stop,
leaves will still rise
and fall
with season
in the park,
and sometimes the scared
will be
called in
from
the dark.
A small plot of land left as useless
finds a way to verdant
in bright,
and all of petals
may find flight
in the blue
of sweet sunlight.
But it would be incomplete
without you there:
the brilliant breathing
in no air.
