I hate you
And you hate me
For the things
We think we believe
Not looking at each
Individually
But as a whole
Collectively

I have a mind
And so do you
So why do we
Misconstrue
What you think of me
And I think of you
Which more often than not
Is far from the truth

Just because we voice
Our opinions out loud
Doesn't mean we think
Along with the crowd
Last time I looked
Pretty sure I found
That both you and I
Make our own sound

Which means...

I do not hate you
And you do not hate me
For a lot of the things
That we both believe
Looking at this
Individually
Can't we both agree
Collectively
The hate we are showing to our fellow man that disagrees with our point of view is wearing me out.
