I'm sorry, Lord
for I have sinned
in this lonely road
I've never been

Its twists and turns
have made me sick
pushing my stomach
I want to *****

My head is spinning
wild and slow
dealing my conscience
a guilty blow

My heart is filled
with darkness glade
forcing the light
into shadowy shade

My soul is forbidden
to eat your bread
that saved the world
in ****** red

For ten long years
'have not confessed
my sins have made me
so depressed

But you have always
loved me dear
in my dream
you've shown me clear

The heavens taught me
how to pray
to say what I mean
and do what I say

To end my suffering
pain and sorrow
'decided to
confess tomorrow

The priest was happy
to welcome me back
to the Church
that I forgot

I started praying
and doing good deeds
watering again
my spiritual seeds

But sin has its plans
lurking underground
to catch me while I'm
sleeping tight and sound

And so my very fears
happened so fast
Lord, please pull me
I'm back in my past

When my craving was back
I gave in instead
to lust and gluttony
waiting to be fed

My eyes are filled
with lustful shapes
the enticing apple
and the luscious grapes

My mind is focused
on moving thoughts
of singing androids
and dancing robots

And so I questioned
the Lord and myself
do I need to pray more?
do more good deeds?
or seek some help?

Then the answer came
as fast as lightning
with heavy dark clouds
that started raining

To survive the rain
I must decide
to run forever
or fight with my life

And so my courage-ignited heart
began the wager's war with sin
to banish lust and gluttony forever
and purify the body from within

For lust is now my sworn enemy
and gluttony as well
by fighting and not running from them
I destroyed their citadel

They could never hurt me again
I learned this the hard way
The Lord is my only friend
In fighting sin from start to end
