It’s a beautiful masterpiece
that glistens like little diamonds.

A gift from Father sky
meant to slow us down to appreciate life.

A chance to plan ones next vacation
to a warm place where it never snows.

Frozen particles that excites a child to rush out
to make a snowman to bond parent and child.

Large accumulations that give people
a snow-day from work and children no school.

A reminder to dress warm to avoid discomfort
and drink hot chocolate.

A chance to take out your ski’s
and glide gracefully on mountain trails.

An opportunity to take out a camera and shoot away.

The chance to release anxiety by making snow *****
to throw them at someone without harm.

Snow the reminder it is Winter
and holds the celebration of Christmas
and the start of a New Year.
