That was so many years ago You settle now for smaller shows In that strange old world called Rock and Roll Yet fifty years passed, you're carrying on Still singing all those same old songs Just where have all those good times gone? It seems those days have flown away Now newer bands have their say But they must never forget you paved the way. So come on now, sing your songs Let them see that the band plays on.
