I come in excited like a new puppy jumping into your arms.
Happy to be home off of the long road.
At first you hold me
Then your true colors come out
I’m just trash you picked up on the side of the road.
I left because I hated you
I came home to love you
I hate you again, I don’t want your love
The road might have been too long for you
It was not long enough for me.
