In breath I
visit my minds
mysterious hallways.

It took me into many
hills and valleys.
The walls
were covered with cells
that echoed like birds
trying to get my attention.

I realize it is ego castles
constructed since birth.
Not a place I wanted to be for long.

It played songs
of second guessing,
control, and judgments.

The melody
drowns out heartbeats
trying to filter into
my consciousness with lies.

With another focused breath
I traveled
into the heart,
where grand music plays.

It echos making me
feel empowered to dream.
The caverns
give me comfort
with its love infused beat.

I am home
and whisper my gratitude
for a place
I now visit often.
