Nothing here
but crisps and beer.

A hundred thousand reasons why
and I
have not found one.
Passing wind on the Central line
or passing time in the wind
it's one or all,
but we're all going to fall
in the final round into
the cold dark ground.

and there's nothing
nothing
nothing there
but stale smoke
and staler air.
