Dream me a dream
of a time I have forgotten
Where your breath ran warm
And sticky against my skin,
or your laughter floated,
Trailed into my ears like
My favorite song,
And your arms gently, playfully, brushed
Against my own
Just so I can find it in me
To forgive you for what you’ve done.
