Here you are, in the amusement city.
Where faces are not what they seem to be
Where screams and cries is the only melody
Here you are, in the amusement city.

It feels like I have lived here for a while
Though it has just been just a short interval
I may have got used to the stretched wide smiles
And beautiful masks that hide it all.

Last night on the brighter street, two ladies wrapped in scarlet veils,
Bumped into me and hesitantly then said,
“Excuse us but we are running late;
Tonight’s the night of timeless tales”

I hurried and joined them in the brink of an eye
And saw folks along, walking by,
Till we had reached a huge site
Where it had been raining lights.

“Nothing is impossible here,
This bizarre lonesome city,
The more you are here, the more you are here’s
Oh, indeed what a place to be.”
Here you are, in the amusement city.
