Wearing mask of clown, I move outward
bringing smiles to faces.
Tickling hearts of all ages.
Blowing bubbles to launch dreams
that spiral in the moment.

Wearing mask of smile, I dance in big shoes,
jumping through hoops to take worries away.
Singing a song to ride a carousel of light.
Waving magic wand to open hearts of precious souls.

Wearing a mask as clown, I celebrate
giving peace to the many who gather.
Stopping time to bring laughter to all.
Inviting a parade of joy to commence.
Until alone I sit removing my mask,
to realize I've been escaping
from a reality
that haunts my heavy heart.
