Dear Angel, please listen,
Heed my plea,
Hear my wandering spirit's entreaty.
May my deeds,
Align with your creeds,
Sewing in my mind your spiritual seeds.
May Hearts awake,
To their mistakes,
Overpowering sin's oceans and vice's lakes.
May minds as one,
Run with the sun,
A path of righteousness begun.
May you be a benefactor,
Helping to salvation manufacture,
Healing souls after fracture.
Stoking delight,
In nascent flight,
As you cloak us like you in bright white light.
May you say bless,
To our distress,
And help us to make mend of mess.
