Hannah Rose
I have a friend of many years
Her name is Hannah Rose
A friend in need is a friend indeed
So the saying goes
She was right there with me
Through the drink & drugs
She took no guff, she was tough
But also gave me hugs
She helped me with my self esteem
I helped her in school
She gave me needed furniture
We, together, met our goals
She has had a harder life
Than anyone I know
And yet she's kind & loving
These gifts, to me, bestowed
But the greatest gift she gave me
Was taking me to church
She brought me to our Saviour
When my soul was in the lurch
She has had a broken neck
PTSD too
She has had so many problems
It would make Job feel blue!
Now the lady's paralyzed
She's under
great
attack
She can't feel on her left side
Her body hurt & wracked!
Many folks would break in half
Against these daunting odds
She sings in praise, and she prays
To our Sovereign God
She called me this evening
To ask me to pray
Now I'm asking you folks
To take part of your day
To think good thoughts for my friend
Or lift her to the Lord
That her soul be comforted
And her health
RESTORED

Thanks for your kind compassion
And hearts!
