Mar 2017
elephants dance in graveyards
upon images that remain inside us
sold our lips to saviors
our sharp tongues break free of the danger
of speaking to our selves in the past tense
i sense menacing whispers
like sinister senators sleeping
with the wives of their fellow representatives
instant personality disorders
poured into cups of milk and honey
