Carry me in Your arms
Caress me with Your love -- undying.
Let Your wisdom be my source
For I cannot hold onto what I have
I can only long for what You own.

Let Your glory shine on me
I may fail in the brightness I alone can see
The speckles of hope are upon me
Full with intent and unveil each color.

I grasp not on my strength
I failed too much
I trembled much
I gain nothing from self-deceit
Dreams were shattered
Left in coated shells, oh such debris!

I cry tonight for the moon to see
For the stars to brighten my way
Yet darkness vowed to silence me
I lose my steps as days roll by
I hear doubts and worries
All over me, they're dead lies.

I shut my eyes
And left my heart to lose its thumping
I left my hands holding no reinforcement
My nails were punished as the wall cracks
My head bangs at the loss of flooring.

Here I am, I chase not the wind
But Your infinite and tight embrace
I dream dreams to which You own
And like the rest of Your creation,
I die to be Your own.
