Poems
Feb 2017
I want you to know me.
Hear me,
I am the whisper in the wind,
The faint birdsong with the sunrise.
I am a lull and I am soft.
But if you listen closely,
I am thunderous though sweet.
You are the taste of honeysuckle,
The smell of dandelions.
You taste the way spring feels.
Giddy and exciting,
Finally at peace.
I hear you.
