I see dinosaurs down below
on the valley floor where
in the faunasphere
eggs are lain and
strange thingsΒ grow.

It's easy in the aeroplane
to sit back with a gin and
explain it all away
with a,
'it's been a hard day, a funny week'
but I
take another peek
and they're still there
plus
four pterodactyls in the air.

This holiday
is home from home
my body and my mind will
roam.

Oh a Stegosaurus
pour us out another gin
one more and I'll
fit right in
to
the straitjacket.
