I wish it hadn't happened
I remember standing there
I remember that you laughed at me
At my body
And... I remember, that, later, I tried to claw at my skin, wishing I could tear it off
But I only managed to leave bright red marks as a sign of my failure to change my appearance to your liking.
And people wonder why I'm self conscious
