"Driving many roads, so many sights
to see.
Your eyes where never on the road, nor
were they on me.
You gazed at the tall buildings as we drove
through the streets of the city.
Asking me so many questions, i wondered
how you got so witty.
Looking at my Rear View Mirror, and seeing
your baby face.
I was about to give you an answer, but
you turned away looking at the park of rides, and
it's carousel .
I stared at you for a split second, and a
thought ran through me like a train.
There will come a day when you will no
longer be, in my Rear View Mirror for me to see.
The years have passed, and that all did
come true.
The difference from then til now, is funny
what us people do.
She is now in the drivers seat, i'm
near her. Only i am asking the questions
as she answers looking at me in her Rear View Mirror."
