Epicenter
A heave of the earth.
Hillsides of structures collapsing;
cascades of rock and vegetation;
liquid shifting of terrain;
the silent screams
of trapped and torn people.
We turned towards the worst damage.
Rotors, engine, and radio were the
Only sounds.
