Bam!* Punches jumping on your gut,
An earthquake crack in your heart
Parents' protection is beginning to rust,
Exposing you to reality.

Internal conflict,
Emotions battling like a storm,
And there is no such thing as being
Friendly or warm.

Why can't this tyrant
Just leave you alone?
Nowhere to be safe,
Not even home.

They insist they understand,
Know what you're going through.
But in truth, they aren't aware
That he's out to get you.

Nobody can be
As sadistic as him;
Stretched and pulled your self-esteem
Until it's worn and thin.

Fragile like a china doll,
But this demon doesn't care if you break,
For all he wants to do
Is proclaim to you, "You're a mistake."

Every word that comes out
Are swords to your brain,
And you know inside that they are true
Even if they seem insane.
This was an assignment for my school, but it didn't sound too bad, so I decided, why not? By the way, no, I have not been bullied before, so sorry if the situation isn't accurate.
