I folded my wings to my body and settled on my branch.  I could see so many things it was difficult to decipher.  There were a man and a woman in an alcove high above a rushing stream peering over the edge of the cliff into the chasm.  An old man with a watch and a horrid grin was laughing insanely while throwing darts at a map of Israel while **** war films flickered across the walls.  In the air above him a witch was stirring her cauldron while her familiar, a huge black panther paced across the floor.  Periodically the sound of a gong shattered the silence in the land behind me.  When I turned to look I saw an old man wearing a karate ki holding a baby, they both turned into wasps and flew away.  A flock of crows flew high overhead, they seemed to be watching as a bank of black clouds enveloped the ground below.  There was a group of children in a medieval town jeering and taunting  one another while a score of rats feasted on a dead dog.  The scenes faded and I was left alone with the dawn.
