To love someone is to see the face of God.

And that quote has really stuck with me.
I'm not really a religious person,
But I am a hopeless romantic.

So I'd like to believe
That even if there is no conscious higher power,
Like I'd like to think there is,
That there is at least fate,
Binding us to something,
Somewhere.

I guess I find comfort
In belonging to something,
Especially if that something
Is a someone
And that someone
Is you.
