What a cold place the world can be
when nothing’s left to gain reprieve.

Stuck in a picture,
without blush,
knowing that the teals and hues
will never be used to set you free...

No longer being
able to believe
in the least degree.

Life’s a funny thing though,
for one day you can see
what the day before
could not be gleaned…

The white turns off of the grey stage
and prisms onto your own page.

With vision restored
you’re welcomed into
the colors warmth.
