Sep 2016
I've found my loveable distraction
For until next semester.
In this courtyard I am jester
In the other a simple contraction

Of a muscle deeply lain
By time ungodly strain
And barely managing to contain
Its unearthly fluid.

Its tissue's not the issue.
It's the impact of the brain
Turning this naive heart insane.

Asleep it's fine.
After dinner and wine
You make me want to intertwine.
