To the most awesome friend
To the strongest girl I have ever known
To that bubbly girl I met a year ago
To you whom I love deeply
(Although I don’t really show it)

For your broken hearted soul

I do not want to say “stay strong”
For I know you are strong enough to endure this
I do not want to pity you either
For I am sure you’ve had enough of them
But I am going to be here
To keep on writing words for you

You trust no one
And that is fine
I am not asking you to trust me
Instead write your feelings
Like you always did
With pen as your knife
The paper; your skin
Bleed them all out
And I’d still love you the same

Like you said
It is a goodnight not a goodbye
He did not mean to leave you
Yet alone hurt you
For Him who knows
That you are a tough cookie
For Him who believes
That you can keep an eye for your family
To support them
That is why he decided to halt
Take a break from this cruel and harsh world

Dear Sabrina
Promise me not to flight
Do not let yourself drown
Without trying to resurface
You are a great swimmer
You can survive the tides
Have some faith in you
That you can do this
You can make it through

I love you Sab
*Do not cry yourself to sleep
This poem is actually written for one of my closest friend, Sabrina. Her father died (11/06/16) from a cancer and I was worried about her (still am). So I decided to write a poem for her; to let her know that everyone is always behind her to support her, that she is not alone. I wanted to give it on her birthday (18/06/16) but I wasn't prepared to let her read this poem just yet. I did give her an excerpt from the poem and she's been anticipating it. She's just so adorable. Sab, if you have found my account and this poem, know that I love you and I do mean it :-)
