I lost my soul in a poker bet.
I lost my soul to someone I just met.
I walked through summer...right into the snow.
Strolling beside someone I barely know.
He talked of heaven, but dished out hell.
He picked me up every time I fell.
He hit me high and he hit me low.
I was the star in his show.
He said I'll make you love me.
And I wanted to scream.
Beggin no on my knees.
So I played it like a poker game.
Never knew he was in the poker hall of fame.
