I waited for you to knock.

Twelve years passed...
I saw you at the bench playing.

Eighteen years gone...
You made your way from this town singing.

Twenty years after...
I am still staring from afar while people chase you.

I may be twenty years late,
but believe me it's still you
and it hurts to admit it's true
