The Middle Years
I've somehow lost the middle
The ones they call the middle years
It's the only explanation
Of how I ended up so quickly here
I'm trying to think, how many blinks
It took those years to slide
How ever fast, they never last
The sloppy kiss goodbye
And that man that sadly stands
Inside this foggy mirror
I still wonder from where he has come
And where are those middle years
