I can't forget that feeling
Of belonging and comfort
Or that summer fling
That grew like wildfire
From what was intended to be
A serious asskicking
And standing up for her
Who pushed us together
All to willingly
Late night call just to say the
Very first
"I love you"
I was so naΓ―ve
And patient
And innocent
I thought you were happiness
Personified
For once in my life I felt
Like I mattered
Then you ripped that away from me
I don't love you anymore
But I won't forget you
After all,
How do you forget someone
You think could've
Tasted like happy?
