Three hours
Fifteen minutes.
Counting down the seconds
Until I see you.

Today has been
One whole storm of a day,
And not the kind I was raised to
But never truly liked.

I've been feeling like crying
All day long
And things have only gotten worse,
But I know I'll see you
And I'll be okay
And we'll be okay
And the sun will set
And the moon will rise
And we don't have work in the morning,
So let's stay up and talk and laugh and whatever
All night.

There's no reason
I shouldn't be happy.
So **** this ******* ******* of a day,
I'm ready for this evening to begin.
Not letting myself cry because
Tears will ruin this dress.

I'd travel oceans
To be in your arms,
Even if I couldn't swim.

I'd gladly get into a helicopter
To see your smile,
Even though the noise would give me sensory overload.

I'd take the chance
Of being eaten by a Siberian tiger
In the middle of winter
If it meant I got to hear your laugh.

Though I do guarantee I wouldn't be eaten,
We'd probably become friends
'Cause animals are rad and so am I.

I hope you're safe
And I hope your day has been better than mine.

Three hours, seven minutes.

See you soon, Bluebird.
I am horribly impatient and today hasn't been so great, but it will be later.
