Cut down in the name of something we don't understand

For what reason?
What is the motivation?
What is the goal?
I see it
It's dark and sinister

And I know the reasons
But I couldn't show you
I could say it plainly and bring with me proof
But so many eyes are closed
So many minds
Why?
