May 2016
Awoken with butterfly kisses
And the humming of your hands
Warm air warming our hearts
Tempting our mouths to smile
A curl of toes
A mind of woes
Escape into the sea
The cool air blows through our hair
A salty symphony
The sun shining through the leaves
And through our blinds once more
Spring has blossomed to a new
As waves crash on the shore
Arms around my narrow waist
Pulling me out of bed
Your tired eyes connect with mine
A kiss on my forehead
A relaxing day
Our toes in the sand
Iced coffee in hand
The bees will buzz
The birds will chirp
An overall pleasant mood
Summer’s never felt so good.
