Blue was the deepest see
Blue as the sky above
Sending waves form a far
Crashing her eroded heart

Loud was the sound they made
Loud as a lion roar
Broke her dream into two
As they sneaked in through the door

Purple was the scarf she wore
Purple as a summer night
Made her shine bright as star
Shadowing the moonlight

Cloaked in dark
They climbed the bed
Creeping slowly
In her head

Erased her pain
As she slept
Burned her thoughts
Made them melt

The next day
When morning broke
She was free
As she woke

She found her peace at last
With the spirits of the past
